This contract, signed by the booking client, specifies location, date, time, number of persons, and reserved times. All deposits for multiple bookings must be paid up front. Changes or additions after signing are at the discretion of Royal Slay by Shay. This contract constitutes the sole agreement between the client and RSBS.

 

Bookings & Deposits

• A signed contract and 50% deposit (non-refundable, non-transferable) are required to secure a date.

• No reservations are confirmed until both are received.

 

Booking Times

• Contract includes start and end times (approved by client).

• Makeup sessions must run consecutively, at the same location.

• Early call times (before 9 AM): +$50 fee.

 

Delays

• $25 late fee per 15 minutes if the client delays and causes overtime.

• Missed or unavailable appointments may be canceled at the artist’s discretion; deposits remain non-refundable.

Satisfaction
Makeup is completed to the client’s satisfaction within the allotted time. Acceptance confirms satisfaction.

 

Trial Makeup

• Only available with a contracted service. Fee: $150 (30 min).

• Due at time of service.

• 15+ minutes late may result in cancellation and $25 late fee.

• Rescheduling requires 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations

• Cancel 7+ days before: no penalty.

• Cancel less than 7 days: deposit forfeited.

• Cancel less than 48 hrs/no-show: full service fee due.

• If artist cancels: 100% deposit refunded within 7-10 days (sole liability).

Service Location & Setup
Client must provide:

• Table/work area

• Lighting (natural or lamps)

• Electrical outlets

• Chair

 

Travel Fees

• Flat rate travel fees apply for (55448)

  • $25 flat fee (within 30–50 miles)

  • $50 flat fee (50–75 miles)

  • $75 flat fee (over 75 miles)

• Long-distance (3+ hours away): Flat fee plus accommodations, transportation, parking, and meals covered by client. For destination events requiring airfare or overnight stays, all related expenses (airfare, hotel, transportation, per diem, etc.) must be paid in full by client.

 

Liability

• Brushes/products are sanitized; products are hypoallergenic.

• Client must disclose skin conditions.

• Artist is not liable for allergic reactions.

 

Payment

• Balance due 48 hours before event day, one payment only.

• Responsible party = contract signer.

• Accepted: cash, PayPal, credit card (with fee), cashier’s check, or money order.

 

Severability
If one clause is invalid, the rest of the contract remains enforceable.

 

Use of Image
Royal Slay by Shay may use photos, videos, or recordings for promotional purposes. Clients release all claims regarding image use and authorize release from event photographers/videographers for promotional rights.
